Corupt India

India is still perceived to be one of the most corrupt countries by Transparency International in its annual corruption perceptions. The country ranks 84th in the list of 'World's most corrupt nations' due to high public-sector corruption.

The bottom five nations were Somalia, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Sudan and Iraq, while the cleanest countries with ranking close to perfect 10 were New Zealand, Denmark and Singapore.

So which are the developed countries, which are developing countries and which are under developed? Everybody can give a speech, but only few can listen properly. The report blames everything to Indian PSUs, but I think that Private companies are not absent here. The only thing is they are not caught. These reports can do a little, but together we all can do a lot.

Think about it!!!

Gender Gap

There was a time when the gap between the genders was very big. Then came the time when everybody said that they were putting there the best of their efforts to remove this gap. Most of them got little success.

Who says that there is no Gender Gap in India. According to a recent survey done by World Economic Forum (WEF), there is a big corporate gender gap in the employment of woman in th entry level to the top management of the companies. This survey was based on the 60 of the top best 100 employers of India. Here are some of the results.

* Women employees held only 10 percent of the senior management positions in two-thirds of the surveyed companies.

* None of the companies had women chief executive officers (CEOs) and almost 40 percent of the respondents had only 10 percent women work force.

* The average annual income of a woman is $1,185, which is less than one-third of a man's $3,698, employed in Indian companies.

Do you think we are not having any Gender Gap in our country? Remember, if you cannot respect the work done by others, stop the operations of your company. The most preferable way to remove this type of gap will be to educate the men about the women empowerment.

Remember, a finished road is much better for a vehicle.
