PoT

PoT : Power of Touch

The dictionary says that touch comes into existence when two things comes into contact. Very true…right? Our fifth sensory organ (SKIN) is all about that only. We respond to whatever we feel on skin. I personally feel this fifth organ as the most important organ. Why?

The simple reason which I feel is that this is the only organ which can work on the part of other four. How? What do you think - mere watching scenery is enough, or the experience and the feel are important? Why people go for outings? To see the places there, or to feel good. I know many of you must be thinking that both are important, but I am talking about the comparison factor.

Touch, by its definition, is a kind of contact or I must say - a feeling. Right? Don’t worry I am not going to talk about all kind of touch now.

But why I am writing this? I had an experience somehow related to this. Recently, I reached to an ideal auto driver as I wanted to go to a place in Bangalore, India. I asked him the fare. He told me Rs. 200, but actually for that place the fare could be Rs. 150. I asked him to make it Rs. 150. He was not ready and made it Rs. 180. I requested him, but a simple “NO” to everything. There was no other auto nearby. So what I did, I put my hand on his shoulders asking “BHAIYA PLEASE MAKE IT 150”. And guess what he smiled at me and agreed. I reached my place, but was totally confused. I tried everything before that touch. Then I came to know about the power of a touch.
I feel that that generally auto driver think that we consider them as inferiors. And that touch had a battle with his thinking. It happens everywhere. What a touch can do cannot be done by anything else.

TRAIN TRAVEL -- Wow!!!

I love to travel in train. Why? Well, the simple answer I am having is this that I get to learn a lot of things. Many of which seems nonsense, but in real terms it is worth.
Few days back, while travelling in a train, I came across a simple but complex thought. I was in an AC bougey. I thought of something(I really don't know what), and I decided to travelling standing for an hour. After that, I went to general bougey, and sat there for half an hour. Initially, it was so relaxing that I was feeling being in heaven.
After that, the hard wood showed its power and my heaven turned into hell(my bums started paining actually). I came back to my AC bougey. Again, after being there for 4-5 hours, I again got B.P.(Bum Pain).

During the whole travel I was continuously thinking, what really was going on? I came uo to a conclusion for that:

"NO MATTER HOW COMFORTABLE YOU ARE TODAY, IT WILL SOME DAY BE A DISCOMFORT"

Same thing happens in organisations too. Managers do think that the COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS which they are giving to their employees today will always keep them happy. But, someday they will get B.P..

But, hello!!!

A man in need of money will look for money today, if someday he will require non-monetary benefits that thing will not work here.
