Tensionless Pension



A worker starts his life with a dream of getting a secured job. His this dream gets fulfilled when he gets a job in a PSU. Earning Rs. 1,512 a month makes him feel like he is on cloud 9. But things do not end here. With a dedicated servive of more than 40 years, he reaches a figure of Rs. 5,308 per month.

By that time, this worker is blessed with an old counter-part, 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and few grandchildren. The daily wish-list of the grandchildren for toys, the unstoppable medical bills, and other regular household expenditure force him to think, think about the future ahead, that is future with a sum of Rs. 5,308, or even the lesser amount of pension.

According a recent survey on Indian household, 67% of the parents are not being taken care of by their successors. So, the real challenge that comes to these workers is - "How to live rest of the life?"

Thanks to the Indian Government, and that too AICGPA (All India Central Government Pensioners’ Association. With the implementation of the sixth Central Pay Commission Report, the worker are getting their pension which is more than that of the salary which was being paid to them. The worker who used to earn Rs. 3,607 as salary, is now getting Rs. 15,000 as his pension. This pension is also liable to increase with every five years.

This has definitely put these workers out of the tensions. Now, they are buying some extra toys, having proper diets, and keeping care of their health. This has brought them -

- Freedom from fear
- Freedom from anxiety
- Freedom from unnecessary tensions
- Freedom to be self
- Freedom to live
