What do you do?

Every time we meet a new person, the conversation starts with the “name” and “what do you do?”. There are many of us who are doing something which is not our passion, and the “what do you do” from others seems like a big blow to us. You know why? Because we do not want to answer that “9 to 5 shift” as we do not want to show ourselves in a pigeon hole.

We do have our passion with us (may be writing, painting, playing, etc.), but that is not what our occupation is.

Let us try it out like this for the next time. When someone asks you the “what do you do” question, try to respond as – “Currently I am working as a Store Manager, but my real passion is Painting”. You will be amazed to see the results. This will make you realize your true identity, your true passion, your true life. The day will not be too far when you will really be working with your passion, which you always thought of doing.

If you can’t do it, you will always be at the same place. Dare to Dream!

PRETENDING PROTECTION

Protection can simply be defined as the process of keeping safe. Protection is everywhere, whether it be that for family planning, for country Borders, for the family, while climbing, or for anything else. There are many people who want to protect themselves all the time no matter what they are doing.

People want to protect themselves so that they can be free from all tensions, but the reality is this that people get anxiety, nervousness and pain when they think of protecting themselves. When you try to protect yourself, you can never be able to get protected for sure. Your success is totally unpredictable. If you don't get success, then you are more likely to have a introduction of its running mates (Anxiety, nervousness, and pain).

People who try to protect themselves, don't want to show their real self, because these are the people who want their identity to be hidden. So, don't try to protect yourself, and you will be able to avoid its running mates.

NEVER TRY TO PROTECT YOURSELF, YOU MAY NOT SUCCEED,
EVEN IF YOU TRY TO, IT IS NOT REAL YOU.

Know your True Self

One fish said to the other: “Do you believe in this ocean that they talk about?”

This ancient Chinese saying well illustrates how narrow our vision of the world and the universe can be. We all see the world form our limited perceptual framework. Whether it be an African, Asian, or an American, we all perceive through the senses we have. From our knowledge of science, we know so many things are just not what they appear — earth is not flat, the ground below us is not stationery and the sun doesn’t rise in the east.

The fact is that we see and hear what we can and not what the reality is. The world is like an unprocessed data, which is yet to be interpreted by us. In other words we can say that the unrevealed reality is just like an FLIP BOOK (which Ishaan made in Taaren Zameen Par), and what we are interpreting is just a single page of that flip book which is of no true meaning. We cannot interpret the whole reality until and unless we start perceiving things beyond that is visible to us.

And the factor which is surely acting as a barrier in our interpretation is our THOUGHT and EMOTION. We are very far from the reality because we are more conscious about the external environment, and we have lost connection with our true self. Well, an attempt to interpret the reality will not change the reality itself, but it will help us live with great joy and happiness.

KNOW YOUR TRUE SELF, OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR IDENTITY
